Butterfly animation

My tenth unit (actually unit 9) was to animate a butterfly in motion. I ended up using the boxy butterfly rig by Truong for this task because I had issues when working with the rig provided by the university.

This animation was quite simple to make and didn’t take me very long to complete. Despite that, it is one of my favourite animations as I am very pleased with the sporadic movement that I created with the motion path. Unfortunately due to some limitations with the rig I was unable to have the wing tips bend in the ways they should have, to help make the motion more realistic. I also added some overlapping action to the antennae and abdomen, although it is not super visable as the butterfly moves very quickly.
